    Hi

I am using this plugin for auto update on my WordPress website. It is working awesome and flawlessly.

However, I recently faced the issue of many pages like contact us and cart showing 404 after WooCommerce plugin yesterday. All I need to do to fix it was resave permalinks. Is there a possibility to add a configurable option in the plugin to refresh permalinks after the update of plugin/themes/core? Also, is there any option to handle this with custom hooks in the plugin?

I’m not sure if adding this by default will be a good idea since it’s quite rare that updates will break permalinks and it will slow down the update process even more.

At this point there is no support for adding custom hooks in the plugin but this is something I’ll look into.

Thank you for your quick response.

Yes, if you can provide a feature to handle custom functions on successful update then it would be great because refreshing permalinks using cron will not be a good idea when we have no updates on a particular day.

What do you think about including permalinks refresh in the plugin itself which is disabled by default and users can enable it, in case if needed, from the settings tab and are aware of the slower update process?

Providing a setting for it might be a good idea too, will definitely think about that.

    Hi,

Is the configuration setting or custom hook after auto update is now possible?

The issue of invalidated permalinks after plugin updates is still persist.
