I use this plugin so that I can integrate payment methods via card etc in my store.

However, the Fluid Checkout plugin for WooCommerce. is clearing fields on the checkout page.

I’ll try to explain it better.

For example, the customer puts the card number in its respective field in the mentioned plugin, then the entire form is updated and erases the card number data, making it impossible to fill in the data and finalize the purchase respectively!

    Hi @invokeeer,

Fluid Checkout does update the checkout page multiple times in the same way as the native WooCommerce checkout.

For security purposes, our plugin does not save any payment information between these updates. Please note that this is the same behavior as the native WooCommerce checkout.

The website link you sent is not using Fluid Checkout at the moment. And, I’m currently unable to test the Mercado Pago payment method on my side as I need access to my account there, it will take a few days until I can test it myself.

If possible, create a video recording or take some screenshots to help me understand exactly what is the issue and how we could fix it πŸ™‚

In case you don’t want to publish the video here, you can send me the link at diego [at] fluidweb.co.

Hi, I’m facing the same issue. I’m using the Mercado Pago plugin. I made a video showing what’s happening. Here is the video. While this is happening I’m using the plugin option to redirect to their site.

    Hi @bc13513,

I finally got access to my Mercado Pago account again so I could test it.

Although, I could not reproduce this issue on my side.

The tests were made with the Storefront theme, Fluid Checkout versions 1.2.0 through 1.2.10 (first to last public releases), and the next version (1.3.0) which is not released yet.

I also tested it with the plugin “Brazilian Market on WooCommerce” activated and not activated. Although we don’t fully support this plugin yet, I thought there could have been a conflict between these two plugins.

None of these combinations resulted in the behavior you are experiencing.

During my tests, the only time the payment fields were cleared is when you leave the page open but change the active window on your operational system. This behavior is by design, to enable to save the user’s data if they leave the page for any reason. However, I’ll try to improve it by avoiding update the payment section when this happens.

Could you confirm which version of Fluid Checkout you are using, and the list of plugins you have activated on your website with their respective versions?

If you don’t want this information publicly available here, please send me a message to diego [at] fluidweb.co.

    Diego

    Hi @bc13513 @invokeeer,

The issue with the Mercado Pago plugin has been solved, but it is not released yet. If you can’t wait for the next version (1.3.0), you can try the beta version 1.3.0-beta-3:

I’ll update you here once the new version is released.

    Best,
    Diego
