Hi there, I really love this plugin. Set it up once and then forget about it. It simply works!

To comply with accessibility standards in the EU we need to give elements on the modal lightbox screen a focus. So that screenreaders can read what is on the lightbox screen. At the moment focus is not shifted to the lightbox when activated.

Keyboard support is already there for this plugin, which is great! Any chance we might get this support for focus?

    Thank you for your work!

While exploring the plugin, I also noticed that there’s no focus support. This isn’t exactly professional. It also negatively impacts how people with disabilities perceive the site’s content. Consequently, this lowers SEO rankings with search engines. I’d also like to point out that the lightbox’s close button isn’t wrapped in a button tag, which is a poor design decision.

    Hey @jeroenwester! 👋

Thanks for reporting, glad you enjoy using the plugin!

Indeed, the lightbox is missing some accessibility features. The next update will ensure the lightbox has proper focus and navigation, with all the necessary labels for each input. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Just installed the update and did a few tests. It seems to work: the focus is shifted to the modal screen. Thanks for your update!
