    Hi,

When using the module the sync is working well. But when I added the product via Zettle in folders something is going wrong.

The products sync and after that someone ordered the products in one of the systems the products are added again in Zettle but not with the folder. So I’m left with 2 products att that moment, 1 in the folder and 1 in the main view (no folder).

I also saw an error in the WOO log but I don’t know if it is related with this but I write it down here so you may have extra info.

    Regards, André

    Hello @andre222

Thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.

I am doubting a bit if your problem description is correct. It is true that you cannot add a product via Zettle, since the only sync that can occur is a stock change from Zettle to WooCommerce. If you want to add new products, you will need to do that in WooCommerce and the plugin will sync them to Zettle (it does not work the other way around).

However, I believe you are adding stock in Zettle and that somehow goes wrong. Could you explain what the initial situation is and explain step by step what actions you are taking that causes a new product to appear (and where)?

If a new product is created in Zettle, then this will indeed not sync to WooCommerce and you will have 2 products on Zettle side.

Please clear up the situation for me.

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hi,

    The process is as follow:

    • Add product in Woo
    • Sync
    • Add product in Zettle in folder
    • Change a bit in Woo (the plugin is already installed more than a year)
    • Sync
    • Add order in Zettle
    • Sync
    • Now there are 2 products and both have different amounts in stock. The first is not updating but the new one is. They have both the same unik ID. And in Zettle both products have the remark box that all changes done in Zettle will be lost. So they really come from Woo.

Hope this helps to solve this.

    Hello @andre222

Using your instructions, I have attempted to recreate this issue, but I am not getting the same outcome. Just to be sure, I want to tell you what I did for some of the activities you mentioned:

    • Change a bit in Woo (the plugin is already installed more than a year) –> I adjusted the price, stock and product name. This was synced to Zettle.
    • Add order in Zettle –> I don’t have a POS, so I just adjusted the stock number in Zettle.

Both these activities did not cause a 2nd product to appear in my Zettle library. I think there is another influence in your environment that I don’t have present. It might help if I can see your system report to see if there are any 3rd party plugin that are known to cause issues. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing those details on a public forum, please open a ticket with our service desk. You can find the instruction for this here: https://zettle.inpsyde.com/docs/request-support/ (please add the URL of this thread in the ticket as well)

    Kind regards,
    Joost

    Hello @andre222

Since we are now working via your private engagement and could not reproduce the issue on our testing environment, I will close this public thread. If we do find an issue with our plugin, we will update this thread in retrospect for other users to learn from.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
