Folders vanished

    Hi

    I am using FileBird lite and everything was going fine until my folders vanished.
    I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but ended up trying to recreate some of the folders I had.

    When I did, I noticed that the folders had a ‘1’ added to the name, suggesting my old folders still existed but are not displaying. All I can think is that one of my plugins recently requested a database update, and this might have made the folders vanish?

    Any help appreciated!

    Hi @csdirt ,

    Please try to turn off other media plugins like Enable Media Replace (3.3.10) and WP Real Categories Management (Lite) (3.2.6).

    Hi Kelly

    My provider:
    “The shared hosting platform does not cache websites, therefore we are unable to clear the server cache.”

    I did change themes and it made no difference though

    Hi.
    I agree with all users, geat plugin!
    But I’m facing the same problem of all users: folder list doesn’t appear in most cases like when inserting an image in a post, page, etc.
    I tried renewing cache (WP fastest cache), deactivated Enhanced media library, etc. without any result.

    Normally, when entering the Media Library page, you land in the Media Library tab and you can have two cases: the folder list appears half overlapped to the thumbnails, or the folders don’t appear at all.
    In any case, if you switch to the Load file tab, the folders disappear.

    The solution I found is pushing F12, select the following tag
    <div class=”media-frame mode-select wp-core-ui filebird-treeview not-show” id=”__wp-uploader-id-0″> and changing the not-show class to anything else (n3ot-show).
    In this way the folders appears.

    Can you please fix it? I’m running filebird 2.7.1 on different WP versions (5.2, 4.98), PHP 7+ and the results are the same.

    I found your article How to troubleshoot WordPress media library not loading with FileBird but..hey! there’s no troubleshoot there!

    MySQL Version 5.6.40

    WordPress Version 4.9.13

    No issues with clean WP v5.4
