    Hi!

    I am very new to WordPress. I want to include a “follow” button, so readers can follow our blog and get a message when we write a new blog.

    But after spending 2 hours googling I am none the wiser! It seems to me this should be very simple, but most answers I found talk about generating a code which requires a Jetpack plugin, which seems rather expensive just to be able to create a “follow” button? And I have tried at least 3 different “Social media buttons” plugins, but none of them seem to have any “Follow this WordPress” site buttons, only for all other social media you can think of.
