Font Awesome block has broken

    In the past week, our Font Awesome blocks have broken. Now, in the block editor, they appear only as a white square. The block heading is still there, but grayed out, and there are no settings for the block.

    This happens when we create a new page or clone a page with the block on it. We are in the process of adding pages pretty rapidly, so unfortunately this has broken our workflow as we can no longer add Font Awesome icons in the places we wanted them.

    My guess would be that we have a conflict somewhere, but I’m not sure where to look.

    I’m not sure what you mean by ‘select all the blocks’, sorry. The JSON export is just for the Font Awesome block. I can’t see a way to select all of the blocks.

    I should have said that the pages with blocks on still display fine – the problem only occurs when we click on the block in the block editor to change it.

    @wordsearch It appears to me that the color of the icon is white, which might be causing the issue? Can you try to change the color?

    Also, does it work if you add a new Font Awesome icon or even the new ones don’t work?

    There is no way to change the colour, as there are no settings for the block. The result is the same for new blocks and existing ones.

    I have a new issue since 5.5. in that my entire block editor is now white, which seems to be an issue with my theme. I managed to change the Font Awesome icons in the code editor but it looks like it might be worth looking at the theme to see if it’s causing the other problem too.
