Font not showing in block editor

I’m using the Kadence theme (free version). On the frontend the uploaded font is shown correctly, but not in the block editor. So, when editing a page I can choose my custom script font in the typography dropdown, but the edited text only changes to the fallback font (Arial), not to the script font.

It’s confusing for my customers to see the correct font on the frontend, but a different font in the editor.

I’ve watched your video on YouTube and followed your instructions, but that doesn’t work with Kadence (I’ve tried it on several different websites with many different fonts nd settings, but the custom font never showed up in the editor, so it seems to be a theme related issue, although Kadence uses the Gutenberg editor).
