Hi tmorioka,
This is happening because your theme is adding !important to the font size property .newtagline class.
Here’s what you can do:
- Settings > Google Fonts and select the font control that you have made for .newtagline
- Check the Force Styles option.
- Save the control and visit the customizer to see if it works.
