FooBox vs. text editor

Hello, first of all thank you very much for making this gallery and lightbox. I find the gallery really simple and user-friendly. The lightbox is great but I have some issues with it:

1) When FooBox is turned on the default texteditor in wp disappears. Customizing the theme option also stops working.

2) I order to speed up the site I was trying to defer or async javascript and css loading. I tried a few plugins or code snippets and I actually managed to do the job three times (trying different techniques every time). But the moment I did it FooBox always stopped working.
