Hi @anton341 ,
The footer that you wish to change has been designed with the help of the Header footer block for elementor plugin.
Here is the screenshot that will help you how you can edit the footer.
Regards,
DeepakI am having the same issue, I can edit the footer but the changes are not taken effect.

SwetaHi Team Brainstorm Force,
You didn’t say that for the “Header Footer Builtder” submenu to appear inside “Appearance” you need to install the plugin: Elementor – Header, Footer & Blocks
So the widgets that are in custumize as explained on this page ( https://wpastra.com/docs/footer-bar/ ) don’t work anymore?
I would rather use them.Thank you.
Hello @marktasso
We do have the same mentioned here under the Installation section.
While for the Footer Bar you are referring to is a feature of the Astra theme and this plugin only helps create custom Header Footer with Elementor.
Regards,
SumanDo you need to remove the footer in astra and use your footer from elementor. I’ve done this using thrive symbols on my page maybe it can work for you. You have to put a bit of code with FTP to remove the before and next posts in your blogs. Other than that it works fine.
Akintola & anton341,
The footer is like a global footer means it is set to appear on every part of the theme though you can make the footer to appear on specific pages as your wish . The footer can be customized, all you need to do is to install this plugin: Elementor – Header, Footer & Blocks. After installation then click on APPEARANCE then click on HEADER FOOTER BUILDER that will take you to HEADER FOOTER TEMPLATES, in there click on FOOTER page and click on EDIT WITH ELEMENTOR. That is the place you can start customizing the footer of your website. That will solve your problem. Additionally, as a matter of fact you can build different footers for different pages in this location and they will work as global footer for different pages you have selected when you build the footer. Hope that will help you guys.
Hello @garethbu
The Elementor – Header Footer will automatically override the default footer of the theme.
And as @azurintegrated mentioned you edit the Footer as required.
We hope that clarifies.

SumanHello @trudyd1474
As we checked we can’t find the Partners section on your website, can you help us with the screenshot or link to the page so that we can take a look and help you accordingly.
Or you can simply inspect the section using the browsers inspect tool to find from where the section is being added.
I hope that helps. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Regards,
SumanHi.
I was able to edit the default footer widget using Elementor.
But I found out that the icons won’t show alongside items in the ‘List Icons’, no matter what I do.
So, I decided to do away with the default footer widget, and build another footer widget from the ‘Appearance > Widget’ section.
But the new issue is that the widget I built comes with a ‘black colour’ background, whereas I want it to have a ‘white colour’ background.
Now, my question is, how do I change the colour of the footer widget I built myself?
Regards.
You can configure the Footer Widget background from the Footer Widgets section of the Customizer. This doc will tell you more about that.
I hope that will help.Kind regards,
Herman 🙂Thanks @brainstormteam .
I’ve got that resolved yesterday, but the footer looks ugly, and I had to revert back to the default footer widget.
Now, my issue is, the default footer widget won’t display icons besides ‘List Items’, no matter what I do!
So, please, how can I make the icons on ‘List Items’ show in production?
Thanks, and many regards.
Taofeeq AZEEZWhat if you go to the Icon List widget you would like the icons to show up then pick any icon you would like to use? Please refer to this screenshot. Here is the doc that will show you more about that.
I hope it will help.
