For attaching
-
For some reason, on a specific website I am using this plugin for it, the invoice is no longer coming attached to the regular invoice email. Can you think why this is?
Kind regards

Hello @uwd,
Could you check your error logs, as described here?
https://docs.wpovernight.com/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/where-to-find-debug-logs/Hello Darren,
I have checked the error log but there is nothing for when I was testing the invoices.
@uwd,
Can you remember anything that changed in your website or hosting during this time, by any chance? how is this website different from the others in the back-end?
Could you share a screenshot of the table at PDF Invoices > Status > then scroll down to System Configuration? You can use imgbb.com to share images. 🙂Hello Darren,
There hasnt been any change to the website or hosting during this time. Below is the status system configuration.

Could you check the WooCommerce logs to see if there are errors with the
wpo-wcpdforfatal-errorsprefix? If so, please share the logs with us. You’ll find the logs under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. See Where to find error logsHello @dwpriv ,
I have tested the emails again and the only item in the error log for today is for a payment processor but the test order is with a free test product so I dont think that it is with that.

Thanks for the screenshot. You had mentioned that the attachments no longer work on the particular website. Is there anything specific you remember doing on the website before the problem started? Do the attachments come in the admin email?
Hello @dwpriv
No, I haven’t made any changes since. The attachments are no on the admin invoices either.
Kind regards
Do you happen to be using any third part email plugins such as mailpoet or sendinblue?
Hello @dwpriv
I am using contact form 7 for the website. The website was using that when it used to send the invoices as well.
Kind regards
Contact Form 7 is a contact form plugin, but it does have nothing to do with the mail sending itself, which is handled by your hosting server or a third-party service, if you have setting up an SMTP plugin.
Please follow these steps to find out if the issue occurs before the message is sent:
- Install and activate the WP Mail Logging by MailPoet plugin
- Open an existent order that is already complete, or a testing order, find the Send order email panel, on the right side, select Complete order, or any other email notification in which you attach the PDF invoice, and click on Save order and send email:

- Then go to Tools > WP Mail Log, find your last email, and check if there are files in the Attachments column, and/or any notice on the Error column:

- Share the results with us 🙂
