Forbidden Access to program denied.

    Hey guys,

    Over the course of my first two days using Blubrry, I found it really easy and user friendly. While I use Blubrry for hosting, today my PowerPress statistics say “Forbidden Access to program denied, RawVoice API Server”. I’m not exactly sure what this means. Recently, I asked a Blubrry support tech to refresh my RSS to update my feed description, and ever since then I’ve had problems. (not sure if it was the refresh or the length of my new feed description that caused the problem)

    Side question, is the error effecting the statistic displayed on the Blubrry dashboard, and is it potentially effecting the refresh/distribution of my RSS feed to podcasting outlets?

    I do have my wp-cron.php set to refresh once an hour, but I’ve had it like that for a while. Also it was set to this rate while PowerPress was originally working.

    Hello @cswinson and @omdaddi,

    Last week we released a new metric in our statistics called “partial reporting”, this is reporting to you IAB compliant metrics with the breakdown of what is downloaded with 1 request vs the partial requests that we see from mobile devices.

    The API had a glitch until early this morning. The “Forbidden Access to program denied, RawVoice API Server” was a temporary problem caused by our update yesterday, you should not see the error today.

    Statistics do not impact distribution or your feed. If you are having a feed issue it may be related to something else.

    Just so I understand, you asked our support to log onto your website and refresh your feed. Typically we do not do this, we can advice you how to contact your web host to clear your website cache, but we cannot login to 3rd party web hosts and do this for you. Can you clarify what you meant?
