Hello @paka7287,
Please, check these settings:
- WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Anti-Spam by CleanTalk → Advanced settings →
- → set the option “Set cookies” to “Auto” →
- → set the option “Use CleanTalk JavaScript library” to “On” → Save Changes.
Then clear your website cache. Make sure that the website cache is 24 hours or less.
Also, the fresh test was made from a public network with high spam activity. Please, check your IP addresses as well if they are clean. You can do it here:
https://cleantalk.org/blacklists
Did it help you?
Thanks for getting back to me! I did as advised. “Use CleanTalk JavaScript library” was already set to “On.” I’ve cleared my cache. I’m hoping this clears the issue since not everyone will contact my client they receive this message. As for the suggestion of checking the IP address… this is not feasible since we have no idea who is trying to contact my client via the website.
Hello.
You can monitor your Anti-Spam log for some time. You can see there all the information about your users’ requests including IP and even message. Here is the guide that can help you working with logs: https://cleantalk.org/help/log-usage-details.
If you face further false positives please mark records in your Anti-Spam Log if our service made wrong decision:
Your Anti-Spam Log [ https://cleantalk.org/my/show_requests ] —> choose your website in the drop-down menu —> there are buttons “Spam” and “Not Spam” under every record —> mark records using these buttons.
The guide is here: https://cleantalk.org/help/faq#feedback_spam. And then let us know, we will analyze them so that we can take the necessary actions to fix it.
Hello @paka7287
If you have a moment, could you please leave us some feedback? We would be very grateful.

Hello. I had to wait until a form submission was submitted and today 2 of them received the same forbidden message. I made the requested edits previously as advised by you, but it looks like that’s not working. Unfortunately, since these are unique submissions I cannot whitelist or do any actions because I have no idea who will be submitting the form. I will have to deactivate CleanTalk until you can help me resolve this issue. Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks!
Please try to set the “Set cookies” option to “Store data in the website database (alternative mechanism)” and make a test form submission.
Sorry for the delayed reply. Unfortunately, I am unable to duplicate this on my end because my IP address has never been flagged. I am only informed of this by my client who in turn gets notified by potential clients. Since I cannot test it on my end and my client is potentially losing revenue I am being forced to deactivate your plugin and search for a better alternative. Is there any way you can test it with a known blacklisted IP address? Can I exclude certain forms, but still enable it on other forms?
Hello @paka7287.
I have analyzed the Anti-Spam logs. The issue with parameters is caused by the LiteSpeed Cache. I have to change the filtering rules for your account to fix it.
Please, leave the Anti-Spam plugin enabled and let us know if something goes wrong.
Thank you! I have other websites using the LiteSpeed plugin. Would it be possible to know what settings you’ve modified so that I may do the same with my other websites?
Cheers!
The changes were made on our end and implemented for all websites added to your CleanTalk account.
