‘Forbidden’ notice

Although Asset Cleanup has not been tested with my 6.8.2 version of WP, I thought I could give it a try. When I try to update the settings, I get a ‘Forbidden’ notice, and although all my settings are saved, the selected css files still get loaded.
Should I be waiting for compatibility? If so, how long might I have to wait?
