• Is there a way to force the user’s browser to download an image file to disk rather than display it in a window (or flightbox)?

I ask because the ancient Joomla based system I am replacing with File Away does seem to do this by default. It’s useful for people who need to download images for use in projects.

    1. Don’t enable flightbox.
    2. Don’t enable opening jpg files in a new window.

Both of those are things you have to tell File Away to do explicitly. The default behavior is to download all file types.

If you want to remove the possibility of the user manually opening a jpg in a new window, you’ll have to enable encrypted downloads.

Thanks Thom, I’ll give it a try.
