Hello, Love Love Love your plugin. I am wondering how I can force download files. For Instance:

I have a mp3 song that I want them to be able to play in the audio player and then when they click on the mp3 title link it will download to there computer instead of open in the web browser audio player.

    Any Help?

It forces downloads by default, unless you’ve specified for it not to for that particular file type.

    What browser are you using?

I use safari and Google chrome usually. But when I click on the mp3 button under the title of the song it will just play it in the web browser player.

In Chrome too? I think Safari has issues with the html download attribute, but certainly not Chrome.

Yeah, I checked in Safari and Safari still does not support the download attribute. (They suck, plus the discontinued it for Windows.) However, within the next couple hours I am releasing a new version that has an encryption feature. It will encrypt file download links and mask the url, and then force the download via a php script rather than through HTML. So this will bypass Safari’s deficiency, if you want to enable encryption. This feature is compatible with Audio Playback.

Version 2.6 is now up. Try it with encryption activated and you won’t have the issue with Safari.
