Just upgraded to 2.2.0. Now all of my emails are using do_not_reply@”MYDOMAIN”.com instead of using the From Email Address listed in settings.

I toggled the setting and tested again, but I’m getting the same results with it on or off.

This behavior doesn’t seem accurate, especially since I do not have do_not_reply as an email address in any WP settings.

    Hi @nochanceiv,

Thanks for reaching out & I apologize for the trouble!

When you get a chance, please let us know the mailer that you have configured on your site (Eg: Gmail, Other SMTP).

In general, you need to use the same email address that you used to authenticate your Easy WP SMTP plugin as your “from email address”. Please try updating your “from email address” with that email to ensure proper functionality.

Additionally, please ensure that you have deactivated any other SMTP plugins that are installed on your site. It is important to have only one SMTP plugin active to prevent conflicts and ensure proper email sending functionality.

    Thanks!

    Hi @nochanceiv,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

    Thanks!
