Force secure checkout

The author of the plugin is developing an update based on this new configuration of Woocommerce. Meanwhile, I get a message from this plugin saying that payment methods will only be available when the “Force secure checkout” option has been checked in Woocommerce, but since it no longer exists, the plugin is not activated.
Is there any palatative action I can do to get around this issue while the developer does not release the update? some configuration so that the plugin is “cheated” and identifies that the “Force secure checkout” option is active?

Detail: My site is configured to work only on HTTPS.
