Force SSL doesn't work in WP ecommerce plugin

I’m using WP ecommerce plugin and using the option of “Force to SSL site”. Now when I click that page, it doesn’t show up. The page doesn’t load. It says it failed to load the page. But when I uncheck the option “Force to SSL site”, I can easily navigate through the page at ease.

And yes my hosting service allows SSL certified sites.
