Forcing to install plugins

    it looks like in order to use ‘WP MAIL SMTP’ it is a requirement to also download ‘Contact Form by WPForms’.

    this is stated under Installed Plugins -> ‘Install Required Plugins’

    so basically WP MAIL SMTP will not work without Contact Form by WPForms?

    No, it’s not a Required plugin, it’s a Recommended plugin.
    Both of these plugins are developed by the same company – WPForms and both work nicely together.
    But if you don’t want to use the best forms plugin out there – no problem, WP Mail SMTP will work as expected by its own, just configure it properly.

    So how do we get rid of the Menu item and the nag message? I have other Admins that are going to get TOTALLY confused!
