    Hi,

Not sure if there is a clash with another plugin, but this seems a really great and simple plugin so would love to get it working.

I get the following error on the product page where the images should display:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/coretone/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woo-instagram/public/class-woo-instagram-public.php on line 87

    Any ideas?

EDIT: My credentials for Instagram may not be live yet (I just read they need to be approved)

I don’t think it was a credentials issue, my request was rejected and said it should work in sandbox mode!

Hi, I think the error is down to the API after all, unless you know it can work in sandbox mode?

Instagram will not allow my credentials to be changed into a live account based on this plugin.

The API returns no images in sandbox mode and therefore these is nothing to loop. All accounts will change to sandbox if not approved before July (i believe) so this is something you may want to take into consideration if that is the reason this plugin will not work for me.

    Hello @spirconi,

Actually, In our plugin there is a no sandbox or live mode. When you create application on Instagram then by default it’s sandbox mode then If Instagram permit your access then and then you will able to access images using our plugin in live.

Please see this link for more details: https://www.instagram.com/developer/review/

    Thanks,

    Hi,

With the latest version I no longer get the forloop error, but i do get ‘No results found’.

Sorry I just reread, my application to change from Sandbox was denied, and reading around it is very difficult and seemingly a lot of people are getting denied.

Unless you have a specific way to get approval that I can follow I think that this plugin won’t work whilst I cannot change my credentials from sandbox mode.

    Hello @spirconi,

Actually, It’s not because of plugin. Instagram will approve your request for live. Once They will approve it then and then you will able to access all images and user our plugin.

From our end, If result will not fetch from Instagram then will give “No result found” message. So Kindly please contact to Instagram for approve your application.

    Thanks,

    1. Which use case best describes your Instagram integration?

A: I want to display content from hashtags on my website.

This use case is not supported. We do not approve the public_content permission for one-off projects such as displaying hashtag based content on your website. As alternative solution, you can show your own Instagram content, or find a company that offers this type of service (content discover, moderation, and display).

That the first option which means I cannot convert to live account!!

    1. Which use case best describes your Instagram integration?

A: I want to install a third party widget to show Instagram content on my website.

You do not need to submit for review for this use case. Some widgets may ask you to register a new client ID, but you should not submit it for review for the widget to work. Your client can remain in sandbox mode and the widget will have access to your last 20 media. If you are having issues with the widget, please contact the owner of the widget directly.

This won’t allow me to access media from others unfortunately, its also not showing my media either.

This seems a great plugin and would be a great idea for my site but It look like I may not be able to πŸ™
