Hi @mebea, thanks for reaching out to us.

The link you mention in your post is different to the site cited as the one you need help with. Are both sites behaving in the same way and did the password reset page physically change after activating Wordfence? What were they before/without Wordfence and are there issues with how these pages operate – such as not sending reset emails etc?

If the issue is different and I’ve misunderstood, and you wish to change the URLs to something custom/hidden then please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

Hi, If I activate the plugin and the username or password is incorrect, I get an error message (only after activating the plugin). The error message contains a forgotten password link. The link points to an unknown site, not my own domain.
    Thanks

Hi @mebea, thanks for your reply.

Is the site address correct in WordPress > Settings > General? There should be some input boxes for WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL). If they are correct, is your site a migration/copy from the other domain showing in your password reset link?

This should be a WordPress generated link rather than a Wordfence generated link so I would expect some settings outside of the plugin to be affecting this at first glance.

Let me know how that goes,

    Peter.
