    Hello,

    When I attempte to create a new form, it won’t let me choose the type of form. For some reason the choices will come up, but when I attempt to click one, it goes away. Is there anything to do about this ?

    I hope you are doing good today.

    This issue could be a plugin conflict. Would you please run a conflict test? Please deactivate all plugins except Forminator and check if the problem is gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having a conflict. If there is no positive result, switch to a default WordPress theme like 2019 and see if it works.

    Before this test, we recommend full site backup or running this test on staging site.

    Hi Kris,

    I tried the things that you mentioned, but none of them seemed to help. Is there anything else that can be done to fix this ?

    1. Could you check your browser console does any errors appear during your actions?

    2. There is a possibility that some files are missing after the update. Please log in to FTP of your site and navigate to /wp-content/plugins/forminator and re-upload from fresh ZIP all files and folders.

    3. Can you add this code to your wp-config.php file:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
    define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);

    also delete (if exist)
    define('WP_DEBUG', false);

    The line should be placed above the “/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */”

    This will generate in the /wp-content/ folder a debug.log file. Please check does in this file you will notice any Forminator errors.

    Hi Kris,

    Thanks for your reply. I’ll go over the steps that you mentioned. Hop[efully Ill do it correctly since I’m not versed as far as codes go. I’ll let you know if I have any issues.

    Hi Kris,

    While going through the steps of the second suggestion using the ftp file, I got a warning. It was something about an unknown certificate. Should this be cause for concern ? I’m not sure exactly what it means.

    Sounds like your FTP connection isn’t working. Could you please check with your hosting provider and check what might be causing the issue with your FTP connection?

    If you have cPanel access, you could make the changes of enabling debug mode via File Manager instead of FTP.

    Hi,

    I made some changes and followed some steps and it seems to be working. I’m not able to find the file though for some reason. It shows files under remote site on the right, then I guess you copy/paste the file to local site on the left ? It seems to disconnect from the server too. Isn’t the whole site supposed to be one file ? I’d send an image if I could.
