    Hello,

When I add form on an elementor page, it doesn’t appear when page published. It shows “[contact form id shortcode]” instead the form.
I contacted elementor support but they told me to to “report this issue to the support team for this plugin, so they may further troubleshoot and provide any recommendation (or possible fix) to resolve this issue.”
They also told : “Should they need any help from us, they can open an issue on our Github account and our developers will be happy to assist. https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues

I hope you can help me.
    Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

Thank you for choosing Contact Form 7 — it’s a very popular plugin with many users 👍

I can’t provide detailed guidance on how to use Elementor itself, but from your description, it looks like the shortcode may not be set correctly.

In WordPress, shortcodes are used to call plugin functionality inside pages or editors.
    What you are currently seeing:

    [contact form id shortcode]

is just a placeholder format and not a valid shortcode, so the form cannot be rendered.

A valid Contact Form 7 shortcode looks something like this:

    [contact-form-7 id="2d51712" title="Contact Form 1"]

The id and title values will be different depending on your environment and the form you created.
Please make sure you copy the exact shortcode from the Contact Form 7 admin screen and paste it into the appropriate Elementor widget (usually a Shortcode widget).

You can find the official getting started guide here, which explains this in detail:

I hope this helps, and I wish you all the best with your site.
