I have a straightforward service form with a single-select dropdown for service. No matter what option you select in the dropdown it renders the same error “… is invalid”

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @gustavofence

This is an unusual error, and our support team would like to investigate this a bit deeper.
Can I ask you please to open a presale ticket in our helpdesk here, and attach an XML export of your form? https://formidableforms.com/new-topic/

Once we have the XML, we’ll import it into our dev site for testing and see if we can get this figured out for you.

    Best,

    I have the same problem.

Just installed Formidable and customised default Contact Us form. Replaced Subject field with a Drop down and regardless of what is chosen from the drop down, it gives the “is invalid” message. The field is not set to Required.

    Hi @thetraininglady,

I believe this is related to a bug that our developers are currently working on, and that should be fixed in the next release. In the meantime, I would recommend rolling back to a previous release as a temporary fix to get your forms working again.

To roll back to a previous version, you can use the WP Rollback plugin:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-rollback/

Rest assured, all plugin settings are stored in the database, so you won’t need to set anything up again after rolling back.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can assist you with.

    Best,

This was not resolved in version 6.22. When do you expect a fix for this?

In the changelog I found this:

New: Option values are now validated by default. If this causes issues with custom logic, this can be reverted using

    add_filter( ‘frm_option_is_valid’, ‘__return_true’ );.
