Form fields in mail not correct

Thank you at first for the nice form plugin,
but since one of the last updates (I think it was 1.42.0) the form fields are not correctly inserted into mail notifications any more.
I use dropdowns as well as radio-buttons in my forms. Usually there is “label” and “value” for every item. Label is the text I want to display in the user-facing frontend. Value is the text I want to show in the mails. This worked until recently – now the label text is shown in the mails.
Is this a known behavior? How can I fix this?

The fields in question are e.g. {select-1},{select-2} and {radio-2}
