Form fields in Notification emails

    I added a few additional fields to the email notifications, but they are not being sent. Here is the code:

    Hi there,

This email is to inform you that a new donation has been made on your website: http://petalumawetlands.org

Date: {date}
Donor: {fullname}
Email: {user_email}
Billing address: {billing_address}
Donation: {donation}
Amount: {amount}
Payment Method: {payment_method}
Receipt Link: {receipt_link}

Thank you,

{sitename}

    OK, I may have figured something out. I used {billing_address} in the notification email, but the actual form uses “street_address”

    Should I change the meta key in the form field to “billing_address?”

    But that only gives me the street address? Not the city, state, or zip?

    Is the ability to add fields to notifications only available in the paid version? A simple yes or no will help tremendously.

    Hi @timfl

    What you see in the email notification settings are called “email tags” so they are different from the field labels. Are you actually requesting for the billing address to be submitted in your forms? Have you confirmed that that info is reflected correctly in your Donation Details screen but NOT in the admin notification email? If you have some screenshots of those items and a link to your site so I can see the form that would be really helpful.

    Also, this past weekend was Easter weekend, and we most often are not available for Support over the weekend generally at the moment. That’s the reason for the delayed response. Thanks!

    Thanks Matt,

    I now see that I did not ask for billing address in the form (attached). But there are not any template tags for address, city and state in the email notifications setup. Or should I use {all_custom_fields}?

    It depends on your gateway and how you add the billing fields. Can you provide me the following:

    1) Link to your form
    2) Which Gateway you are using
    3) Explain how you are adding the billing fields

    There are two:

    Using Paypal
    Billing fields added via Form Field Manager. All are text fields
