• Hi

Purchased a theme and it seems the author is no longer supporting it. The contact form doesnt do anything when it is submitted. If I look at the elements – it is using a simple ajax contact form that submits to a contact.php form. The code inspector says it is giving a 404 page error and that this contact.php page does not exist. However, the page does exist at the proper location as confirmed through FTP and GoDaddy. Godaddy suggested I change wordpress’s relay servers which I have no idea how to do, what I would change them to, or why i would have to. I dont usually host sites with GoDaddy so i have not had much experience with this happening before. I dont know if its an issue with the theme or with something else. Can anyone help me to resolve why this error is occuring and how I can fix it?

  • We do not have access to, nor do we support, commercial themes as you paid for support when you bought the theme. It is not our place to keep theme vendors in business.

Well you certainly are a diva Esmi.

Thanks for your welcoming response. I didnt know if it was an issue with the theme. I guess I was just looking for a little more guidance about why a php error of this type would occur and perhaps some information about wordpress relay settings.
