Form submission does not work

    I have been using FORM MAKER for over 2 years and I run many websites with it. But I found it failed to work a few times by testing it by myself.

    The right process by submitting a form to our website is the visitor fills in the form and clicks “SUBMIT” and the feature of FORM MAKER will lead him to a THANK YOU page.

    But I have found several times, that when I submitted the form, the page refreshed but stayed at the same page without leading me to the THANK YOU page, and I can’t receive any email of submission, neither can I find the submitting record from FORM MAKER plugin, and the visitor can’t receive the confirmation email either.

    The only method to solve this is to force a second-time submission then it’ll work. But this is a very bad experience for the visitors. They believe when the page was refreshed the submission was sent but I never receive that and they can’t ever get my reply.

    Pls do help to figure out this problem and I hope to get a reply ASAP.

    Hi @chinovtech,

    Thanks for your inquiry.

    Dear client do you have an auto-optimize plugin, can you please try to disable it, clear the cache, and check again?

    Even if not this juts any other optimization or cache tool, please try to exclude the form page of being optimized or cached and check again.

    Also please write with which browser you test? if you test with Safari, please try with Chrome and send me the results.

    If the issue persists, please send me a link to test myself.

    Hi Zhanna,

    I use autoptimized and WP fastest cache. The FORM MAKER plugin works well most time so I’m so insecure to be assured if it would work if I exclude those pages from the optimized tools. It makes me anxious when I found it failed to submit forms several times.

    Last time I tried with Safari and Chrome. Both of them failed until I clicked the submit button for the second time. My clients won’t do that after the first click. This is making me very anxious.

    Today I tried it again but it works. I’m just very not sure when will it been failed again. Here is my website: https://www.chinovdisplays.com/

    Dear Victoria,

    It’ll certainly work if you’ll exclude the page in the auto-optimize plugin.

    Please do this and keep tracking.

    I am sure that the issue will be solved.

    Dear Zhanna,

    I excluded those pages by WP FASTEST CACHE plugin, but since that day I have not received any inquiry anymore.

    I checked my website just a few minutes ago and found there is a severe problem displaying my website… So I removed those excluded pages from WP FASTEST CACHE plugin and the website is now working. But again, the problem of submitting form occurs.

    Is there any guidance for us to exclude the auto-optimization for FORM MAKER for those popular auto-optimize plugins? I use AUTOPTIMIZE and WP FASTEST CACHE.
