People need to be able to submit the form which then sets up a (pending) post. I tried to achieve this via the Meta Box/Custom fields plugin but I dont really know what to do.

Unfortunatly there is no documentation on the Caldera website. Is the form to post method actually possible?

    Hi there,

No, the metabox/custom fields plugin is a processor that turns a form into a custom fields metabox for the post type in admin not for the front.

What you are needing is a form to post type. I do have an add-on for this but it’s not ready just yet.

    Super quick answer, thank you.

May I ask when your add-on might be ready? This year or later?

maybe in a few weeks. still need to test it more so cant really say right now.

    Hi David,
    any news about this add-on?
Out of curiosity, will it work also with Pods custom post types?

Technically yes it will. But if using pa just use the pods addon https://github.com/pods-framework/pods-caldera-forms
