Hi!
Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!
Where are these numbers coming from? Are you using math formulas for calculations here? Or is this table imported e.g. from an Excel file? Is the format correct on the table’s “Edit” screen?
Regards,
Tobias
Hi thanks for replying to me. They were imported from Excel, the format is the same as the other columns, on Excel they are seen with the correct format while when I import them into the plugin only the QP column shows the numbers with a period and not a comma 🙁
Hi,
thanks for the clarification! It seems like TablePress was unable to properly detect the format of these cells in the Excel file then (which can be very complex).
I therefore suggest that you try again with a CSV file: Save the file to the CSV format in Excel and import that into TablePress. This should yield the exact same formatting that you are seeing in Excel.
Best wishes,
Tobias
Gentile Tobia,
So I extract data from a public Basketball dating site via query, then convert it to CSV and finally import it? Ok I’ll try and keep you updated.
In the meantime l ask, isn’t it possible to use a specific command via Jquery to have the data converted into a certain format?
Tank you !
Hi,
above, you said that you were importing from Excel, so the easiest would be to just use “File” -> “Save as” and then choose the CSV format there.
Reformating using jQuery would also be possible, but that would be much more complicated here right now.

Tobias
