Hi there,
Thanks for contacting AddThis Support!
Twitter uses specific meta tags called “Twitter Cards” to populate an image when sharing a webpage. In order to instruct Twitter to show a specific image with a Tweet, insert the following Twitter Card on your pages:
<meta name=”twitter:image” content=”IMAGE URL” />
For more detailed information, please see “this Twitter Card Documentation”:https://dev.twitter.com/cards/types/summary.
It appears that your “https://bestsellers.zag.nz/product/ear-plugs-50-x-pairs-earplugs-3m-brand-1100/” does have Twitter Cards set by using a plugin so that is why its able to share the image when you tweet.
Please let me know if you need further clarifications and thanks so much for using AddThis!
Thanks,
Leland

Thank you for the reply
So the reason I get a good result when i tweet say this link
http://books.zag.nz/book/1262896814/shoot-first
is because books is using the correct setup of the twitter cards? nothing to do with the way it connects to you?
and on the bestsellers i have to make sure that the
<meta name=”twitter:image” content=”IMAGE URL” />
is getting through?
Man they make it hard!!!!
You say
“t appears that your “https://bestsellers.zag.nz/product/ear-plugs-50-x-pairs-earplugs-3m-brand-1100/” does have Twitter Cards set by using a plugin so that is why its able to share the image when you tweet. ”
what you are saying is its the incorrect or badly setup plugin which is why it screws up now just to spend the next 10 hours trying to figure out how to get it send right!!!
