Format Slider Excerpt?

    How do I format the text in the excerpt in the slider? I want to have different lines of text with line breaks, but the theme just runs them all together. For instance, if I put this in the post:

    June 16-June 29
    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet!
    consectetur adipisicing elit…

    It turns out like this in the slider:

    June 16-June 29 Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet! consectetur adipisicing elit…

    How do I fix this?
