Formatting a Quote Post

Hi, I was interested in learning how to use CSS to get a quote post format that looks similar to the demo shown here under the “more posts” section:

Specifically the quote with the photo.
Also if you could tell me where to add the CSS I would appreciate it.

Hi @skemp65, that’s actually built in if you use the Quote post format, as well as a featured image to go behind it. Want to give that a try?

Hi @skemp65,

Oh, can you double check you chose the Quote option in Format (on the right)? As @supernovia mentioned, it needs to be in that format for the styling to appear.

If you can’t see that option, click on the Screen Options tab at the very top and check the Format option — you should then be able to see it when you scroll back down.

If you’ve already done that but the styling still isn’t right, can you send a link to the post you are trying to use this format for?

Hi, actually it shows up correctly on the page for the individual post, but it does NOT show up correctly on my home page.

PS: on the actual post page, Is there a way to remove all of the social media links from showing up on the individual quote/photo?
