Formatting in %excerpt%

Great to find this plugin. I have been trying (and failing) to achieve similar result for some time!

I have 1 question: is it possible to retain the original comment formatting (paragraph breaks, bold/italic, hyperlinks, etc) when displaying the excerpt? At the moment, it’s one continuous paragraph of plain text.
