Formatting problem

    I’ve had a recurring issue with Postie changing the formatting of emails into nonsense text that messes with my pages. Typically if the original email has a different size of font or embedded reply.

    Here’s what appears in the blog post…

    ;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;background-color:rgb(255,255,255);text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial”>

    It only started happening a few weeks back, and mainly occurs when forwarding from Gmail on my Android phone. I’ve installed the clean HTML plugin but it didn’t help.

    Sounds like a side effect of a fix that went out a few weeks ago. Next time you notice it, please forward the email to [email protected] and leave a note here and I’ll take a look.

    Thanks for the sample. You just need to change the “Text for Message Start” to have no text (blank). You might do the same for “Text for Message End”
