• Hi!

We’ve been happily using Formidable Forms with no issues until the recent URE updates.

Specifically, even though every available Formidable permission has been granted to the editor role, one of the users with that role is getting denied permission to see view entries. Here are the roles, all checked, including frm_view_entries.

    frm_change_settings
    frm_create_entries
    frm_delete_entries
    frm_delete_forms
    frm_edit_displays
    frm_edit_entries
    frm_edit_forms
    frm_view_entries
    frm_view_forms
    frm_view_reports

When the editor clicks on an entry screen, they see: “cannot load formidable-entries”

Here is one more piece of information that could help in diagnosis. We use the “View Admin As” plugin to see the backend per role. When viewing as an editor, we are not being blocked from viewing the entries.

Formidable has confirmed that their permissions are working, and we isolated the problem to being between URE and Formidable plugins. However, we deactivated URE and the problem remained. (We understand that is because URE has made changes to the database that don’t go away when deactivating URE.)

Can you point me toward recommendations to diagnose further? We’ve loved URE, but this one got me stuck 🙂

    Hi,

Recent URE update, does not apply any automatic changes to the database.

Try to assign editor role to other user. Will he see entries without problem? In that case reassign ‘editor’ role to the user which has problem: revoke editor role (assign him another one temporally) and grant it back.
