Hi @maruma
Hope you are doing fine.
In general, Forminator initiates an action to send the email, but it’s your WP website that actually sends the email. Could you please confirm whether emails work fine in general or not on your WP site? You could try resetting the password of one of your WP accounts and see whether reset password emails get sent or not.
If the issue is still the same, then either the email is getting sent to the spam folders or blocked by the receiver email provider. The first step will be to configure the email delivery through SMTP. Our Branda plugin can help you setup the SMTP delivery in your site, please find more info about the plugin here:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/branda-white-labeling/
And more specific details about the SMTP settings in this link from our documentation:
https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/branda/#smtp
In case other emails, like the password reset work fine and the issue is only specific to the form then please do share the form export so that we can check the existing settings.
Please check the following doc on how to export a form:
https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export
If you are concerned about any sensitive information in the form, then you can duplicate your form, remove any sensitive information, and then export it.
You can share the export file via Google Drive, Dropbox or any cloud services in the next reply.
Looking forward to your response.
Kind Regards,
Luis
Hello Luis, I have the same problem on 2 websites developed with JupiterX theme. Since 2 years I received the email from forminator form and the subscriber also but since 2/3 weeks none email arrive in both mail box (gmail). However the subscriptions are well recorded in the back office of forminator “submission”. I updated your plugin 2 times in the last weeks, and also the theme last week, is it the problem ?
Please can you help me, it is really urgent.
Is it possible to downgrade the plug in to be back in june when all were ok to resolve the problem ?
I can send you the access of WP of both websites per email. If you prefer, send me your email.
Thank you so much.
Hello Luis and Maruma,
I find a solution. The problem come from the email GMAIL by default in forminator. When I use …………@gmail.com the form doesn’t arrive at destination (before it worked). But now when I change in forminator with an official email ………@mydomain.com all work fine.
Kind regards.
Hi @dunesstd,
The problem come from the email GMAIL by default in forminator. When I use …………@gmail.com the form doesn’t arrive at destination (before it worked).
If you are experiencing issues specifically when using Gmail as the from address, it is likely that the problem resides within your email client itself. You can verify if Formiantor is generating the notification email using an Email Log plugin like: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/email-log/
