Forminator – Email Notification Issue

    Hello Forminator Support Forum!

    I’m looking for help identifying the issue with my Forminator email notifications. The notifications are not working. Currently, I have all of the form fields filled out to ensure that wasn’t causing problems.

    I also tried different emails too and that did not work either.

    Any ideas on settings to change or tricks to implement to get the forminator form submission to set off an email notification to include the form results?

    Hi @simplestartup,

    First thing to check would be the Junk/Spam folder in your inbox, did you made sure that the emails didn’t end up there?

    If that’s not the case, can you check if your default WP emails are working? You can do this from the password reset page on your site or create a new user in WP admin and enable email notification to be sent out.

    If those emails are sent fine could you try installing a mail logging plugin like https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-mail-logging/ and submit the new form after that, check the logs and let us know if you see any errors there about the why the email failed to send.

    Hello Predrag – Thank you for your response to my email notification issue. I have checked my junk/spam folder and did not see any emails go there. I also already have the Post SMTP plugin downloaded to our WordPress website and emails are correctly being sent to the admins, but I see no note of emails being sent or errors being reported related to Forminator.

    Any other ideas that you can think of that would cause Forminator notification emails not to be received by the end user?

    Hello @simplestartup,

    Just to ensure one thing, are the email notifications set up to send emails to you? To check that, please navigate to the Email notification in the form edit window.

    Could you please export the form and send it to us hereby uploading it to the google drive or Pastebin? You can export the form by clicking on the gear icon beside the form name and click the export option.
