I need to upgrade my website to php 8.1. but Forminator does not work properly in the higher php version – I get an error . At the moment I am on php 7.8 and with that version it works fine. Unfortunately it is obligatory for me to upgrade to php 8.1…..
What can I do ?

Just to make sure – you are referring to the current 1.24.4 version of Forminator, right?
I myself am using PHP 8.2 on my main test sites and 8.1 on a few others and on all of them Formiantor works just fine.
However, we are aware already that on some setups, unfortunately, there are errors and our Formiantor Team is already working on a fix. It is expected for 1.24.5 emergency release (I don’t have ETA but it should be soon) to include necessary fixes and solve the issue.
Since it’s happening but “not everywhere” it somehow slipped through our tests and we sincerely apologize for the trouble it caused.
For now, the simplest solution would be to temporarily downgrade plugin to the previous releases (you can download it from this page, form at the bottom) until nearest release is published.
