In my plugin sections, I need to deactivate the Forminator plugin temporary, but after clicking the deactivate button it opens a pop up and no matter what I do, it just not deactivate the the plugin, it stuck on the deactivate pop up.
Sorry to hear about that. I tested on my system with the latest version of Forminator and couldn’t reproduce any issues when deactivating the plugin. I clicked the “Skip & Deactivate” <span style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;”>and “</span>Submit & Deactivate” buttons; in both cases, the plugin was deactivated.
The issue sounds more like a conflict where an existing plugin might be causing a conflict.
Are you able to replicate the issue if other plugins are temporarily deactivated? If you are looking for a quick workaround to deactivate the plugin, you could go to /wp-content/plugins folder via SFTP/File Manager and then rename the forminator plugin folder from “forminator” to “forminator-off”.
However, if you want to check what’s causing the conflict, please let me know if you see any console errors when you try to reproduce the issue.
Also, if possible please do let us know if you happen to replicate the issue if you switch to a default WP theme and with all plugins are disabled temporarily expect Forminator and whether you could deactivate Forminator after that. The above steps in ruling out if there is a conflict.
Hey, thanks for your responses, I figure out where the conflict began. A plugin name ‘Social Media and share icons’ conflicts with that formanator plugin and disable the buttons for deactivating. Simply by temporary deactive that ‘Social icon’ plugin will let me deactive the ‘formantor’ plugin.
