Forminator Meta Keys
-
Hi
I have simple payment form created using Forminator on my site and I want to create new user using this AutomationWP – Forminator plugin based on information in the form once the form is submitted.
I have an Automation created based on those rules:
1. User submits “konzultace” 1 times
2. Create a userMy question is, how to connect the fields from the “konzultace” form to the Automation correctly?
I used the menu and choose “User submits …” -> “Post Meta” from options, this was added automatically into Username: {1:post_meta:META_KEY}I replaced META_KEY with name-1 (taken from fields editor in Forminator under field named “Jmeno”) but the field is empty after submitting the form and user is not created.
Can You provide me some information how to get it working or some clues what might be wrong here?
thanks

Hi @pavelb
Actually the post meta points to the form (that is a post of type “form”) post metas, not to the user submitted fields
But from your request, I just added to our roadmap to add support to the form submitted fields to let you use them on actions
Best regards
Hi @pavelb
Just want to let you know that we just released a new update adding the ability to place tags with the form submitted values as you requested here
In a few minutes you should be able to update this integration
Best regards
Hello @rubengc
I didn’t imagine that it will be so fast 🙂
I will look at it tomorrow and give You some feedbackthank you very much 🙂
With Regards
Nothing @pavelb
Glad you liked this update and with the speed we included it but your proposal is a super interesting feature that AutomatorWP needs to have
Best regards
Hello @rubengc
Finally got to it, but I’m afraid I have another issue now. From some unknown reason the event is not triggered at all once the form is submitted after the update, there is also no entry in the logs.
Tried to recreate Automation, reactivate plugins but no help.
Can You give me some advice? Thanks
With RegardsHi @pavelb
I just tested the “Submit a form” trigger and seems to work correctly for me
There are somethings to check:
1) “Submit a form” trigger only gets triggered if the user is logged in (it doesn’t works for guests users yet)
2) On each automation, you have the “Completion times” box, where you can configure the maximum number of times that a user and all users can complete this automation
If the account you are using has exceeded this limit, then this account won’t be able to run the automation againHope it helps
Best regards
