    Hi,

I am encountering a PHP warning related to the Forminator plugin on my WordPress website. The warning details are as follows:

Warning: chmod(): Operation not permitted in /wp-admin/includes/class-wp-filesystem-direct.php on line 173

Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

    Best regards,
    Roy

  • Hi @royvisser

I hope you are doing well today.

It seems that something on the hosting side blocked one of the requests. Can you let us know where you exactly see this error? Is it visible just like that on the WP admin page, or maybe on the front end when you try to submit the form?

In general it seems that something is blocking the Forminator operation.

Can you also let us know which PHP version your site use?

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

    Hi Kris,

    Thank you for your response.

The error is visible in the Query Monitor plugin under the “PHP Errors” tab at any page when I have the website open (not wp dashboard). snipboard.io/jmsfxT.jpg

    PHP version is 8.1.30.

    Kind regards,

    Roy

    Hi again @royvisser

I consulted your case with our Forminator Team and it seems that your hosting provider disallow chmod() calls. You will need to contact your support about this issue.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
