Hi @emanuelenegro,
The questions I would like to ask are two, the first is how stripe payments work if they are made directly through the form or if instead an email is sent and that’s it and then the payment is done separately
Forminator allows you to add a Stripe field, which would allow users to enter their Credit card details and the payment will be made to Stripe out of the box.
Please check our doc for more info:
https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#stripe-field
and the second question is whether it would be possible make Forminator communicate with woocommerce allowing customers to view their order in the personal area created with woocommerce.
Could you please explain further about what exact information that you are looking to communicate with WooCommerce? There isn’t any direct integration with WooCommerce, but you could use the form to create simple products etc
The plugin by default is meant to act as a form to capture submission or make payments etc the plugin doesn’t have any of the box settings to display data from WooCommerce in the frontend.
Please do explain further about the workflow you are looking to achieve, so that we could better assist regarding this.
Kind Regards,
Nithin
Practically when a customer chooses the service he wants through the form, this service with all its specifications appears in the cart, in this way he is not obliged to purchase a single service but can still continue with the purchases and then place an order with more services. So I simply wanted to know if Forminator after receiving the customer’s choices via the form could send the data to the cart
Hello @emanuelenegro !
Thank you for the additional details! In this case I’d say – very unlikely. Not completely impossible, as Forminator comes with an extensive API but achieving that would require a significant amount of additional coding to pass the data to Woo. From my experience, that’s basically a new plugin to be written to do that.
Of course, you can still create a form to create an order containing multiple products and actually in some cases – maybe it would be even possible to skip Woo completely?
Warm regards,
Pawel
Hello @emanuelenegro ,
We haven’t heard from you for a while now, so it looks like you don’t have more questions for us.
Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.
