Hi @wpgiveth ,
I believe you have set up the Forminator form correctly. However, it would be helpful if you could share your website link with me so I can check and confirm the issue for you.
Thanks,
Repon
Thank your for your reply, Repon! The form I’ve added it to is on this page: https://caltechgroup.com/bathymetry-2/
Thank you for your time and assistance!
Hi @wpgiveth ,
I checked your website and noticed that you are only passing the UTM source to the name field. However, I don’t see the value appearing in the form. This is likely due to a caching issue. Could you please exclude the following cookie key from your LiteSpeed Cache plugin?
Cookie key: wordpress_utm_event_tracker_session
Thanks,
Repon
Thank you for your suggestion, Repon, but right before I installed your plugin I added wordpress_utm_event_tracker_session to the Do Not Cache Cookies section of LiteSpeed’s exclude caching settings so it shouldn’t be caching the cookies… But perhaps it’s a LiteSpeed Cache issue?
I also have added the rest of the parameters as classes on the form Name input, thank you for bringing that to my attention.
Thank you for any assistance you can offer here, Repon!
Hi Repon, I hope you are doing well!
I was just trying to dig into this issue further, and was doing some test submissions on my form after I clicked on my Google ad. When I submitted the form the submission message didn’t show any data for the campaign, source, gclid or content data as it should. But when I go to the Events section of your plugin settings it shows that it hasn’t collected any data that I’ve setup to track on the form except it does show the gclid data. If it’s tracking the gclid data in the Events settings I’m wondering why it’s not showing that data on the form submission notifications…
On my Forminator form I’ve set all the parameters up the same, as hidden fields where the default value is a custom value mentioned on your plugin page (for example for gclid: {utm_event_tracker:gclid}), so I’m just wondering why it’s successfully grabbing the gclid value when I view the Events settings, but doesn’t show the gclid on the form submission.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance, Repon!
I visited your website again to check the UTM data, but I still don’t see any data appearing. I believe there may still be a caching issue. It’s not possible to identify the exact problem without accessing your website’s backend. I think your developer can help you.
Have you configured the form for capturing gclid data?
