• If possible, include the page URL where the Forminator module is embedded.
• Export your form and use a file-sharing method to post in your topic. Make sure you exclude any sensitive information like API keys or email addresses.

Typical problems

Check the official WordPress Troubleshooting FAQ and consider a plugin conflict test to exclude any such possibilities. A full site backup (files and database) should be performed before such a test.

1. Forms not appearing

• Purge all caches (from plugins, server, CloudFlare, etc.) & check again.
• In Edit Form > Behavior > Rendering, enable the “Load form using AJAX” option & check again.

2. Form emails are not sending

The Forminator plugin only initiates the action of sending the email. It is your WordPress site that will be sending the email. Having that in mind, WordPress uses the “wp_mail()” function, which in most cases simply uses the standard PHP “mail()” function. However, depending on hosting settings, sometimes you will need additional plugins like SMTP.

• If the SMTP plugin is already installed, please review your credentials and ports suggested by your email provider.
• If the default WP emails are working (e.g., password reset email), enable an email logging plugin like this one to identify the issue.

3. Spam is going through my form

Forminator has its own anti-spam protection methods like Honeypot protection, Akismet spam protection, and an advanced CAPTCHA field.
