Forminator + Zapier

    Hi, I have two contact forms set up on a website (for two different locations) and am using Zapier to text the contact forms as they are submitted. We also use email notifications. That is all working great, but I notice that none of the submissions are being saved in the database. Is it possible to save the submissions as well?

    Hello @ktaylor310 ,

    Can you check Forminator Settings and your forms settings? In both, there are options for retaining submissions. In form -> Settings -> Data Storage there is an option to Disable data storage, check if it not enabled.
    In the Forminator -> Settings -> Submissions you can choose how long submissions will retain, make sure to select more than 0 days or Forever.

    I’m sorry, I guess I should have tested first, but when I saw the setting improperly configured (Forminator | Settings | Submissions) I assumed the problem was solved. But I tested one of the forms today and the submissions remain empty.

    Hello @ktaylor310 ,

    By any chance do you have Akismet installed on your site? Also, can you tell me which integration with Zapier you are using (I mean which app you are connecting with Forminator)?

    Hi, sorry for the delayed response. I was out of town for the holiday weekend.

    Yes, Akismet is installed. I set up the zaps according to your directions. Catch Hook & Send SMS, is that what you need?

    Hello @ktaylor310,

    Could you disable the Akismet plugin and then check if that works for you. I did try to do have Akismet and Forminator and it worked without any issues though. Also, could you pull up a test on the same from a fresh lab site with just forminator and Akismet plugin?

    Hi, I deactivated Akismet and it did not help. Still not showing any submissions. I went to another client site that uses Forminator + Aksimet, sent a test and it was fine. The only difference in the two sites is that this one is using a zap to text form results.

    Hello @ktaylor310,

    Could you please tell me more about the Zap to text form results which are using. How exactly is that configured? Also, if that works on the fresh setup, can you also integrate the zap to text form and check if that works there? If it works, this issue is specific to that one site which needs a plugin conflict and deep DB check. Please let me know how that goes.

    I still have not resolved this issue. Setting up the form on a development platform and adding another zap for testing purposes takes some time & I will try to do that as soon as I can.
