    Hi,

    I would like to ask if it is possible somehow even with a paid extensions the following.
    I want one form to create but inside i would like to have a choice/dropdown for users to select 5 specific terms. Based on their selection of this field, is it possible to give them a specific user role after the submission?

    For example in the field if they select “Organization” i would like to give them a specific user role.

    If someone choose in the field “Individual”, i would like to give them another user role.

    Right now i only see that you can give a specific role based on form and not based on specific field inside the form.

    Is there an extension or somehow to do it?

    Hi and thanks for your reply and plugin.

    I add your plugin and configure the settings you mentioned but after selecting an option (on role dropdown field) in registration form and sign up the role in back end said “None” for all users.

    Strange, but without the plugin you provide me, just with the role dropdown field, when i choose a role from dropdown registration form and sign up, in the back end the roles are working properly and system give the roles to the users depending on their selection in the registration field.

    This is suppose how it should work?

    Normally from back end and add these settings:

    1) My registration form id
    2) Role dropdown meta key
    3) id of the user roles i create from ultimate member, one every line as you can see in the photo.

    Whatever i choose in the role dropdown field in registration form, it return None as user role.

    Bit seems to be play properly without this plugin and just with the Role dropdown field in registration form.

    I’m using this format meta-value:Role ID for the selections

    In your example there are no meta-values only the UM role ID’s.

    You have your meta-values in the UM Forms Builder
    for your meta-key role_select settings in the “Edit Choices” textbox.

    It seems to work with the plugin now, thank you.

    Do i really need it? Because as i mentioned it seems to work just with the role dropdown field. It gives any extra feature the plugin?

    In the Roles dropdown you have the Role names as choices.

    In the plugin you have the field value linked to roles.
    There is no connection between field value and role name.
    More than one field value can be linked to the same role.
