Forms don’t work consistently

    Hello,

    I loved this plugin because of the customisation options it provided. But after 3-4 forms and publishing on website, the form maker doesn’t work consistently.

    Although issues are intermittent, below are the major reproducible issues.

    1. Submission of form doesn’t send emails on some specific forms. https://musingbrains.com >> home-header form
    2. Submission of forms triggers doesn’t redirect after submission nor loads the current page or form. The page loader spins infinitely.https://musingbrains.com >> footer form
    3. Form doesn’t send emails even though submitted successfully.

    Although the plugin provides customisation options, I am not comfortable with its inconsistent behaviour.

    Interested in fixing the issues and test it for consistency before moving on

    Let’s discuss the cases one by one.

    We have checked this form, the most probably there is an optimizing plugin in your website that minifies our plugin files, if there is any plugin like that, please deactivate and check again.

    2. You don’t get emails on your forms

    Please answer the following questions:
    Do you have any form on your website which submissions you get on your email?
    Is there a form where you get neither emails nor submissions are stored in the backend.

    If the form doesn’t send emails and also doesn’t store submissions in the form maker > Submissions section, then the form doesn’t work correctly. If there is such a form please send that form’s URL.

    If the form stores submissions but doesn’t send emails then please send us a screenshot of your email options to make sure that the settings are done correctly.

    Please answer all my questions for us to be able to better assist you.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

    I will disable the caching plugin and let you know. Although, this is a concern for me if Form maker requires caching plugin to be disabled.

    Meanwhile I will answer your questions in point 2 above. Please find my answers below.

    Yes. On https://musingbrains.com/careers page. Has worked 3/3 times so far.

    Is there a form where you get neither emails nor submissions are stored in the backend.
    Yes. https://musingbrains.com/ >> Home-header form. It has sent 1 email without storing anything in submissions. After that it neither sends emails nor stores submissions.

    If the form stores submissions but doesn’t send emails then please send us a screenshot of your email options to make sure that the settings are done correctly.
    I will test and let you know. But I think I have not come accross this scenario yet.

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    For https://musingbrains.com >> footer form I’ll wait for your results with the test.

    For this form, all is good https://musingbrains.com/careers please check the email options that you have set here with the forms that are not sending emails to compare and see whether there are any setting issues.

    For this form https://musingbrains.com/ >> Home-header form, that neither sends email nor submits the data, please enter form > settings > general options and make sure to enable Save data (ta database) option.

    I have tested the form and it showed form is successfully submitted message, this means the form works and it should store the data in submissions section, please recheck. I have tested this form and received an email as a user if you still don’t get the email as an admin then please send me a screenshot of your email options page.
